Thunder Storm

A thunder storm blew through and I took a few photos as the sun was breaking out. The Allium bases are nice and rusted.

Stiffening the structure

Now that the tallest sections are in place areas needing to be stiffened are exposed. I spent the last week beefing up the lower supporting sections by boxing out the wing shapes and adding gussets.

One more bird section to go cantilevered away from the tall portion of the composition.

Wings

The third pair of wings goes up for a test fit. One more pair intersects the upper wing to reach upwards over 12 feet high.
